Interics Designs was commissioned to create a spatial experience for the world’s leading logistics company’s’ Pune office. We did an in-depth research and came up with a theme “Global Diversity, Local Resilience” that connects with both the internal and external stakeholders of the company.

We divided the space within color coded zones based on their target audience and functions. Using the company’s global reach and deep connection with the local audience, we assigned content for each of these zones.

Based on the initial planning, we created a multisensory, inclusive space design using a variety of graphics, installations, exhibits and displays. The thorough research and dedicated efforts towards the designs resulted in a unique work environment that connects and delights to unite Customers and Communities from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. towards the collective success of the company worldwide.

APPROACH

One of the topmost global logistics companies approached IDPL to create a holistic Brand experience in their office space in Pune.
The objective was to create a spatial environment that instigates curiosity leading to interaction with the space and one another.

The company having an expansive global network was an important subject matter for the touchpoints. Along with the global network, the deep-rooted connection with the local culture of each region was also important.

Hence, the touchpoints were divided into global and local, based on the target audience for each touchpoint.

SOLUTION aREA

Creating a cohesive message throughout an office of 1 lakh sq ft with diverse content such as the technology, the people, the reach etc. Them being a global brand, it was also quite challenging to correlate the brand's language with the local culture.

However, through meticulous planning and strategic groundwork, Interics successfully designed the theme of "GLOBAL DIVERSITY & LOCAL RESILIENCE".

RESULT

The space unveils the brand's Global prowess and their sensitivity and respect towards local cultures and mannerisms. The UPS Pune office is an inclusive space that allows people to interact and explore through various graphics, installations and multimedia exhibits designed for the brand. Interics' wide network of vendors and subcontractors allowed the space to evolve as a perfect combination of modern material and local artistic skills.
